If you are canceling Tactiq because you want study-ready notes (not just meeting transcripts), WhispriNote is built for structured notes and visual diagrams.
If you just want to stop renewal charges, follow the steps below.
Quick answer (TL;DR)
Most Tactiq subscriptions are canceled from your account billing/settings or through the billing portal link in your receipt email.
Important: deleting the Chrome extension (or uninstalling the app) does not cancel billing.
Step 1: Confirm where you subscribed
Before you cancel, identify how you are being billed:
- Tactiq billing portal / web subscription: you usually have an invoice email with a "manage subscription" link.
- Team billing: an admin may own the subscription; you might need the workspace owner to cancel.
If you are unsure, search your inbox for billing receipts and keywords like "Tactiq", "invoice", "subscription", or "Stripe".
Step 2: Cancel from your Tactiq billing/settings
- Log in to your Tactiq account
- Open Settings (or Account)
- Go to Billing / Plan (sometimes shown as "Manage subscription")
- Click Cancel subscription (or open the billing portal and cancel there)
- Confirm cancellation
If you cannot find Billing inside the app, use the receipt-email method below.
Step 3: Cancel using your receipt email (most reliable)
- Open your latest Tactiq billing receipt email
- Click the "Manage subscription" / "Manage billing" link
- In the billing portal, choose Cancel subscription
- Confirm
Tip: take a screenshot of the "canceled" state for peace of mind.
What happens after you cancel?
In most subscription apps:
- You keep paid access until the end of the current billing period.
- Then your account downgrades to the free tier (limits vary by plan).
If you are canceling to avoid renewal charges, cancel at least 24 hours before renewal.
If you want study outputs (notes + diagrams) from transcripts
Tactiq is meeting-first. If your goal is studying from lectures, tutorials, or recordings, WhispriNote focuses on outputs you can actually revise from:
- Structured notes with headings and summaries.
- Visual diagrams (flowcharts, mind maps, timelines) for complex topics.
- Voice chat with your notes for faster review.
- PDF export for sharing or printing.
If your source is a tutorial video, start with YouTube-to-notes.
To create visuals, generate them inside WhispriNote (requires a WhispriNote account).
